Overview

Safaga is located 60 kilometers south of Hurghada and has not yet been discovered by mass tourism. The former fishing village has preserved a lot of its authenticity. The virgin dive spots in the Safaga area provide perfect diving conditions.

Barakuda Diving Center Lotus Bay
The Barakuda Diving Center Lotus Bay is situated in the heart of Lotus Bay Beach Resort & Gardens. Its 220 cozy guest rooms all featuring nice views of the sea, are spread over several small one- and two-floor buildings surrounded by a magnificent blooming garden. In the past years the hotel has been several times awarded a prize for one of the best diver hotels worldwide by different magazines and tour operators.

Since April 1998 the Barakuda Diving Center is under the management of Mahmoud Abd El Hady. With his multinational team of experienced instructors and guides, Mahmoud makes any effort possible to make your holidays most enjoyable.

The diving center is under Barakuda management, one of the biggest diving associations worldwide. A team of experienced multilingual dive-guides and diving instructors, all with extensive training in first aid is looking forward to welcome you on board.
